Overview
This project was a dream of mine since long ago. I love eurorack format because it is a uniform interface for audio modules. Compare that to guitar pedals where you stick on gooey velcro strips that boxes haphazardly stick to a wooden board with felt. Bleugh. So gross. If you store a pedalboard sideways then the pedals ooze off.
Eurorack is so clean, so nice. I took the smallest possible case, then soldered custom power connectors to be significantly smaller than the stock eurorack power jacks to fit into this case. With my tall narrow modules I used brass standoffs to achieve maximum technology density in this form factor.
I ordered PCBs for these open source eurorack modules and programmed custom firmware to do all sorts of epic fun stuff, like emulate a prophet6, be a waveshaper, digital oscillators, etc.
