Overview
This is an arcade-style live action video game with an arduino running the game environment entirely programmed in C.

Project Goals
This was an outreach project focused on educating elementary school students about a sustainability topic in a fun way. My professor liked our exhibit, and students enjoyed interacting with it despite it looking so janky.
Visuals
To communicate with a computer screen to display simple graphics for the game, I created a custom digital protocol to send the state of the game to the computer running MATLAB. My group sourced the materials/decorated the project.

The main interface with the video game are the sliders. These sliders then control the motors, and power switching for the LED strip. Some other fun parts of this project to mention was the mechanical design process to make it modular. Each large piece of the arcade game was able to disassemble with entirely 3D-printed clips. I also made custom cable connectors for the LEDs and motors.
